A Quick Word From Yours Truly


Hi, welcome to PJ's blog.

If you've checked out the "About Me" bit you'll see I'm a keen amateur photographer who enjoys all things digital. I mostly like photographing plants and landscapes as they are easy targets ;-) I used to work in Software which sounds more exciting than it is but am now officially a Snr. Project Planner having changed jobs after almost 25yrs in Software. I sometimes wish I could work in photography but that would probably become boring if I did it day in and day out. I used to sponsor a wolf called Luna until she sadly passed away, and love all things "wolfy". Anyhow enjoy the blog and hopefully I'll manage to keep it up to date with what I've been doing and my favourite things!

Happy 57th Birthday!!!

 

So this Saturday was my 57th birthday - where does the time go?

Went along to Leeds Castle with Julia for a mooch around, walk, chat and take the odd snap with the TG-6.

We did the castle, smashed the maze (did have a sneaky look at the map though!) and had a lush dinner in the restaurant paid for by Julia 😋💓

My brother and family had some flowers delivered - have been playing with them this morning using the 50mm lens on the M50 via the adapter.

This is the image of the day I think, a lone tulip which was starting to droop so placed it on some material in the studio and took some images before starting on the bouquet itself.


This is the full bouquet before I unwrapped them on Friday afternoon when they arrived via a local florist.
