Friday evening saw Julia, James and me head down to the local Scouts Hut/field for this year's fireworks event, first time it's been back since 2019!
And what a feel good evening, good company, excellent show and burgers/hotdogs to munch on whilst we waited for the fireworks to start.

Saturday saw us rock up at Leeds Castle for their firework extravaganza this year - theme was Royalty. Excellent as usual, good choice of music and a very well choreographed show.
This year there were a few more of us, normally it's just me and Julia. But James made his virgin visit to the show along with his mate Dima and Dima's son Charlie. None of them have ever seen the display before so it was good to see their reactions to the show.
Packed the TG-6 all-weather compact and in the end tried out the firework scene mode which worked remarkably well. Think the Live Composite could have been useful but suspect I needed some negative EV as much of it burnt out. In the dark and my excitement not to miss much by keep looking down at the camera I'd forgotten to check it!
Good show though and not too onerous getting out of Car Park No:4 either.
