Took this snap on a weekend walk where I'd popped down to the green on Friston Way with the M50 to take a few snaps. This is the closest I've come to the office since March last year, although I had a fleeting visit in July to collect some bits and my flu jab in October. It feels weird being so close and yet so far away... Having spent 30+ years here on site even my visit back in July felt quite alien, looking around the office at a view I've seen for ages and yet had kind of forgotten since working from home. In October I couldn't wait to get in and get out again, the obvious Covid-19 precautions giving the place quite an unwelcome air. Still I'm sure once we've all been tagged, I mean vaccinated, then we'll no doubt be let back on site albeit in a perhaps more flexible style that the one we left back in March 2020!
A Quick Word From Yours Truly
Hi, welcome to PJ's blog.
If you've checked out the "About Me" bit you'll see I'm a keen amateur photographer who enjoys all things digital. I mostly like photographing plants and landscapes as they are easy targets ;-) I used to work in Software which sounds more exciting than it is but am now officially a Snr. Project Planner having changed jobs after almost 25yrs in Software. I sometimes wish I could work in photography but that would probably become boring if I did it day in and day out. I used to sponsor a wolf called Luna until she sadly passed away, and love all things "wolfy". Anyhow enjoy the blog and hopefully I'll manage to keep it up to date with what I've been doing and my favourite things!
PJ
